Gin of the sea
Gin of the Sea is made to accompany to all kinds of seafood and sushi. Gin of the Sea has been developed in collaboration with, and tested together with first-class fish from Kvarøy Laks, one of our dear island neighbours here on Helgeland.
Gin of the Sea is a real handcrafted gin, produced in the archipelago of Myken, with the Arctic Ocean on all sides. It is made from desalinated seawater and juniper berries, distilled slowly over open flames. Flavoured with aromatic ingrediencies taken from the sea and the raw nature. Rhubarb, gooseberries, spruce shoots, juniper and oarweed create a taste with fresh acidity and subdued juniper flavour. If you mix with ice water, the mixture can trigger real Arctic sea mist, as we do not filter out any of the flavourings.
